Pages break with more than 10 charts

@mattwahman I’m not sure what makes you think this is a problem with our plugin. Do the logs (you may have to ask your hosting provider for where they are) indicate any such thing?

The page was breaking when I added to many graphs from Visualizer, hence my original thoughts of posting here.

Contacted my host, and there isn’t any issues from their side. There are no error logs.

I am going to post the question to the google-visualization-api group on the Google forum. Maybe there is an issue with trying to take too many at once.

@mattwahman This is not a problem with either their API or our plugin. This is something at your end. I would suggest removing a chart one by one before you arrive at the conclusion that more than 10 charts causes this. This most probably looks like a server side error.

@rozroz I did remove the charts one by one until I found that 10 was the maximum. Hence my original post.

I opened this up again as the Google API discussion brought up something that may need to be fixed with the plugin. See here.

They were able to see that the plugin may be loading both the old jsapi loader and the new loader. This may cause some confusion in the loader, and there is no benefit.

They also point out that it is a server side issue as nothing at all loads on the page. I would have understood that the old and new JS could be the problem had they been loading at all but the fact is nothing loads.

Also, you are free to try the plugin on a free WP site (e.g. page with 11 charts https://red-gorilla.jurassic.ninja/2020/07/16/visualizer/) to verify that more than 10 charts is the problem. That will allow you to understand that the plugin is not the issue here.

Have you been able to find out more about this? Another user had a similar problem (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/visualizer-conflict-with-password-protected-pages/) and it turned out to be a conflict.

To be honest, I hadn’t looked any further.

I am also running the SG Optimizer plugin, so it seems like a conflict with that plugin is the most likely. It will be interesting to see what @kreativesolutionsllc finds.

Hi all, thank you for letting me know I am not the only one :).

After enabling debugging and coordinating with Siteground, I had to turn off the “Minify the HTML Output” under Frontend Optimization.

Dashboard> SG Optimizer > Frontend Optimization

I turned off “Minify the HTML Output” through the plugin, and turned it on through cloudflare instead. Seems to be working well now.

hi all, i had this same problem, with me it was resolved by asking the hosting provider to solve it. THey reported this back to me:
I have investigated this issue further and it occurs due to a low value for PHP “memory_limit”. I have increased the value for PHP memory_limit from 128 MB to 512 MB and now I can see the page with the five graphs loading properly.
