Pages broken after 2.5 upgrade, while posts fine?

    Since 2.5 upgrade I am having one serious problem on https://www.coldcity.com; posts are fine but pages suddenly won’t display! They appear in the nav (eg About Me) but when trying to display it I get “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

    It’s Published, non-Private and the URL rewriting works fine for posts. Any help would be much appreciated, otherwise I’m going to have to try and roll back ??

  • Hmm. Just a quick shoot: Please edit your configruation sothat rewrite is rebuild again. This might solve it.

    I’ve got the same problem on a site I’m helping a friend with. I tried editing the wp-config file, but that didn’t help. I notice there’s a difference between the existing wp-config file and the sample, namely the collate and the charset options. If I put it to UTF8 on the charset, it actually changes the existing posts, even though they’re supposed to be in UTF-8 as well.

    The pages actually are there, showing up under posts. I can’t make new pages or posts, and the pages aren’t marked as posts somehow.

    It’s very strange!

    It is hard to say what exactly went wrong. I think this is related to URL rewriting and a thing that seems to help more often is to rebuild the URL rewriting be setting it up again. Change it to default and then back to what you want.
