• My client messed something up and now the “Pages” dashboard section is missing. The pages exist, but there’s no Page visible on the dashboard so there’s no way to add/edit pages. I’ve tried disabling plugins with no luck. I’ve changed themes to see if it’s a theme-related issue, still no luck. I’ve tried every solution I’ve found throughout your forums with no luck.

He installed Advanced Access Manager and since then, pages are missing from the dashboard. I’ve checked with Advanced Access Manager’s support team and they can’t help me neither.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Under Advanced Access Manager, take a look at Capabilities and make sure that all of the capabilities are checked for the Administrator role.

I just installed and tested AAM and it appears that it does not revert the roles to their default capabilities when you disable it – essentially, I was able to reproduce your situation by disabling all of the “edit page”, “publish page”, “delete page” and related capabilities from my administrator role.

Please try going back into the AAM page and re-enable all of those capabilities for your Administrator role (unless you have a VERY good reason, the Administrator role should have EVERY role enabled).
