Pages Displayed on Menu Bar/Not Categories

I’m using the Dynamic News Theme and for some reason the Pages are displayed on the top menu, not the categories. So when I write an article, I select the categorie to add it too, but there is no way to link it up to the top menu found on the front page.

I added pages and those are linked to the top buttons, I need it to link to the categories so new articles are accessible. Any idea on how I switch this?
