Pages doesn’t show shortcodes

I have my client’s website and it doesn’t show any shortcodes…
By default the standard wp editor was blocked in the functions.php and i have removed that line of code but when i type a plain text or add a shortcode it wont take any actions.

They were using embed custom fields to add content etc.. but i have tried to add the shortcode there but it just shows it as a plain text.

Any suggest how i can fix this?
