    Hello,
this question is about pages hieracy, not about templates.

At my shop, customers can buy suitcase wheels repairs, it should divide in 3 levels.
1st level – My start page is
    https://shop.komponentenkontor-berlin.de
From there customer can go to various product pages categories:

    2nd level:
    4-wheel-trolley
    8-wheel-trolley
    2-wheel-trolley
Here he can find the service he wants:

    3rd level:
    4-wheel-trolley | repair 2 out of 4 wheels
    4-wheel-trolley | repair 4 out of 4 wheels
    … and proceed to checkout.

I’d like to have a pages hieracy like e.g.
    shop.komponentenkontor-berlin.de/4-wheel-trolley/repair-2 out-of-4-wheels

But when I look at the URL line, at 2nd level I find
    https://shop.komponentenkontor-berlin.de/index.php/herzlich-willkommen/4-wheel-trolley/

and at the 3rd level, it’s
    https://shop.komponentenkontor-berlin.de/index.php/product/repair-2 out-of-4-wheels

How can I edit the hieracy of pages structure of my shop?

    Cheers,
    Wolf

For the 2nd level pages, I created these as child pages of 1st level. Is there a way to

    Hello there,
You can change how the product URL and categories URL look like in Settings > Permalinks.

That index.php part is showing because of your server. I recommend contacting your host to remove it, they should know how to help.

    Thank you very much.
I’ll try to resolve the “index.php” problem with my hoster.

Dealing with “Settings > Permalinks” seems not to be trivial; I suspect there may be a problem with German “produkt” and English “product” getting in each other’s ways…

But first – I have no idea where the “herzlich-willkommen” bit may come from. It’s the German words for “welcome”. Could somebody guess?

    Cheers,
    Wolf

    Hello Wolf,
Maybe the “welcome” is the title of a page and the shop page is a child of this page.

Thank you for your help. In fact, I set up my products pages as children of the start page, which contains the “welcome”. Changing that solved the “welcome” issue.

To solve the other issue, I now use a redirect plugin.
