Pages Jump on Navigation

    Pages ‘jump’ on navigation when Meta Slider is activated. Deactivate slider, no jumping pages.

    I saw in a thread last year that you were working to resolve the jumping issue. I see no further posts. Is there a fix to this? Wondering before I upgrade to Pro. Using current version of Meta Slider.

  • Hi Lighterdayz,

    It should be fixed for Flex Slider now (the first image is now displayed when the page loads, then the slideshow is initiated).

    Do you have a link I could take a look at?

    Hi Ligherdayz,

    I think what I’m seeing is the expected behaviour. The jump used to be very apparent, eg the whole page would load, and then the slideshow would be inserted.

    I think what you’re seeing now is just the way a page normally loads.. you can see the header and nav also load in in very quick stages, that’s just how the page is rendered as the assets are downloaded by your browser.

    Unless you’re seeing something I’m not….
