Pages not being hidden

@rlcannon I’m seeing the page show as well.

From your description, it should work. However, it is possible that there is a conflict with another plugin you’re using. Have you tried disabling all the other plugins and seeing if it works then?

hi Micah. Thanks for responding. I did already disable the 2 other plugins that I tried to hide pages. I don’t have a bunch of other plugins but I have a few – do you think I need to try disabling them?

Thanks for the help. I setup the staging site and the only plugins that are active aside from Hide from Search are Jetpack and Akismet Anti-Spam. Here is the link: https://staging-13c9-familyministrytools.wpcomstaging.com/blog/ and when I search for supplies the page that marked as hidden still appears.

@rlcannon In that case, it may be your theme that is incompatible. Can you try switching to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwentyThree?

I really appreciate your help troubleshooting this. I changed the theme on the staging site, but the hidden page still shows up when I search.

@rlcannon Just posting here as well now that I know what the issue is. The JetPack search feature overrides the plugin, so for my plugin to work, this has to be turned off.
