Pages not created, shortcodes not working

Hi,

Seems that the shortcode is missing on the listing page. Just edit that page and add it to the content:

[hotelier_listing]

Do the same for the booking page:

[hotelier_booking]

I have already…..kept the shorcodes for you to verify please:

Listing page:
https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/rooms/condo-302/ (shows NOT FOUND)

Booking page:
https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/
https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/reservations/ (which by the way redirects to the above url)

Wait, you have this URL for the listing page, right?

You can’t use that URL. https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/rooms/ is the room archive page for WordPress. Try to edit that page and change the permalink to something like https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/available-rooms/

That is the main problem, the pages were not installed by Hotelier from the Hotelier>>settings>>tools>>install pages…..

No pages were installed even when after pressing the button the message of “All missing Hotelier pages was installed successfully.” comes up

There are multiple problems here.

One at a time.

1. Switch to the default WP theme (Twenty Eighteen) to avoid any theme related issue.

2. The 404 error. Go to WP > Permalinks and click on the save button. Then try to visit this page again:
https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/rooms/

3. Create one NEW page with this content inside:
[hotelier_listing]
I know that you have already one but create a new one, please. Use something like this for the permalink: https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/listing-page-test/. Then set this page in Hotelier > Settings > Listing page.

4. Create one NEW page with this content inside:
[hotelier_booking]
Use something like this for the permalink: https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/booking-page-test/. Then set this page in Hotelier > Settings > Booking page.

Did you set those two test pages in Hotelier > Settings > Hotelier Pages?

Because when set, a special class is appended to the body of those pages. And I don’t see that class when I visit this page:

So it’s working correctly now. The booking page redirects to the listing page when you visit it directly without reserving a room in the listing page. Click on the “Book now” button here (https://www.neptunoacapulco.com/listing-page-test/) and you will see the booking page.

Hi,

Yes, probably. Contact the author and explain the situation. Reporting that the plugin works with the default WP theme.

Those are just shortcodes, they should work without any problem. I’m sure they will provide an easy fix.
