• When i have WP set up to use the ID number all is fine. if I change it to use /%postname%/ then none of the links work. Any thoughts ? I have looked at several post but none seem to make sense.

Some work, and some don’t also. For example. https://wrsoc.com/n/classes/cooking-techniques-1/ does not work. I even tried to edit the page, checked the link, and did a page preview to make sure the link was correct, and nothing.

    Any thoughts ?

  • How did you set up your navigation? I would use the menu builder if I were you. That way the links would be fine. If some links work and others don’t then it’s not an issue of permalinks but rather how these links are called.

I would also make sure that all of your pages are published.

I set up the navigation through the menu builder, and just deleted three links and re-added them and nothing. Same issue.

Visibility is set to visible, and it is published. Even if i edit the page and click preview it does not show up.

Which links did you delete and re-added?

    Classes – Cooking Techniques – 1, 2 and 3

    https://wrsoc.com/n/classes/cooking-techniques-1/

And so from your admin, if you go to pages > Cooking Techniques 1 and hit preview, what happens? Does the page exists?

Perhaps you can try to go to permalinks and hit save again? This is very strange.

Tried that and no luck (actually tried that first as well).

I also just tried the url with the word “classes” removed … as it is the master / group page or what ever you want to call it, and it comes up with a blog post section.

    I am baffled.

I would try switching themes. Try the TwentyTen or TwentyEleven theme and see what happens. It could be that there’s something wrong with the way you’ve coded your theme.
