When I try and create new pages, I am copying from MS Word 2010, they show up in a different format and I cannot make any changes.

I also cannot find the page numbers of current pages. I have been told there is a “copy from Word” button but I cannot find it.

I only use WP for my web site and the hosting company is no longer supporting WP and I am having trouble getting my site away from them to give to another hosting company that supports WP.

If I could edit my web pages, I really could not care less who hosts the site.

Site is www. peterschemical . com (without spaces)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Hey, microsoft word adds some hidden xml formatting that really messes with the page layout. Try opening up the “Kitchen Sink” option in your WYSIWIG article editor (it shows a lot more options) and there should be an icon that looks similar to a word document icon. Use that.

Otherwise, open up notepad and paste your content there first, and then copy from notepad into your wordpress article editor. That should remove the funny formatting.

I tried to open the kitchen sink and it would not open.

Any suggestions how to open it?

And thanks for the suggestion about notepad. Will try it.

The notepad option is your best bet =)

Well I tried the notepad and I still get the same results.

It’s not formatted the same as notepad.

    Still need help.

I deleted the original page and the notepad works and I can edit in WP.

    Thank you.

Now can someone tell me how to arrange the pages? Where do I find the number of the pages?

    Thanks.
