    Hello,

I’m brand new to WordPress, but have experience with web design and website management. So, I installed WordPress on my web server. My goal is to integrate a WordPress blog into an existing website and use WordPress to manage the blog portion of it.

For the most part it seems to be running correctly. I was able to customize the theme and make a few posts.

However, when I went to add an “About” page, after publishing it and trying the link from the blog I get a “404 not found” message.

I’m not sure how the linking process works when using WP to manage a site, but when I look at my remote site, it didn’t add a file or directory to link to. Is there a piece in this process I’m missing?

Where does WP save pages it creates? and how do make sure the links aren’t broken?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
