Pages not saving :(

  • Hello,

    I would appreciate any help, I am trying to create my website and having difficulty saving, I am hitting update, which seems to work, but when I leave the page and go back in, all my hard work is lost.. its happened so many times and is so frustrating, am I doing anything wrong?

    Try deactivating all your plugins and see if you are able to save changes. If so, try enabling the plugins one at a time until you find the one that breaks your site.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress (such as TwentyFifteen) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    If that still doesn’t help, you may need to repair your database. Here are the steps to repair a table in a MySQL database using phpMyAdmin:

    1. Login to hosting account.
    2. Login to phpMyAdmin.
    3. Choose the affected database. If you only have one database, it should choose it by default so you don’t need to do anything.
    4. In the main panel, you should see a list of your database tables. Select all of them.
    5. At the bottom of the window just below the list of tables, there is a drop down menu. Choose “Repair Table”
