pages not showing in search results

My home page and a few others obviously show up when I type in talk torbay, or talktorbay into google, but when searching for subject that we have written about, they dont show up at all.
Google has cached pages but why are they not showing up in search results…..I have tagged all the posts, installed a seo pack etc..
For instance, we have specific posts that cover THHN (Torbay Holiday Helpers Newtork). Its a local charity, so I would expect not too many articles about it. There are some, but where are mine? Im not even showing in top 100! There are loads of other stuff that has no relevance at all to the search.
What do I need to do to get these pages to start showing up?
Please help!
