Pages not showing on Facebook account

I had this problem after update to a new version too.
YOu have to remove the FB account
as you did.

Then open facebook.com and go your applications and remove the application called “Social proxy by mailchimp” or so.
Then go back to worpress and try again
you have to check the permission you give to facebook at the window that opens after click the button “Connect to Facebook”

This worked for me, however I also noticed that if you have something which fills in your passwords automatically it can screw it up. I logged out of Facebook and deleted the cached password, then logged in manually during this process and that fixed it.
