Pages not showing up – I've tried (I think) everything!

Okay, so looks like you’ll need to reinstall WP – so you’ll need access to your site via FTP or Cpanel (ask Siteground if you don’t have that set up). Download a new copy of WP to your computer and then using FTP or Cpanel, replace all files and folders EXCEPT wp-content and wp-config.php file. Also be sure to delete the old versions first before uploading the new ones.

Well, I didn’t have a lot of WP content to save, so I just removed the original version of WP and reinstalled a new version.

Now that I’m in the new version of WP, with the same theme – Cohen, the VERY FIRST THING I did was create 4 pages.

Two days ago, when I did this, the pages immediately appeared.

Today, they aren’t. Not showing up at all.

I’m going to pull all of my hair out.

Nothing will show up in the menu bar.

Is that still true if you switch to Twenty Fifteen theme?

Can you also try making a new page in Twenty Fifteen and see if that one shows up in the menu?

I have done as you asked. Changed themes, added a page titled Twenty Fifteen.

Nothing.

This is quite odd, but try this:

Add define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false); to your wp-config.php file just below the define(‘DB_HOST’ line.

To do so, access your server via FTP or SFTP and edit the file with a plain text editor.

If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest asking SiteGround about this – it’s hard to help much more without being able to actually look at the site/server.

Just deleted that post – you just publicly posted your secure info – which is never a good idea – these forums are VERY public. You should change that as soon as you can.

I’d suggest asking SiteGround for help – they have good support and I’m really not sure what else to suggest.

Ok, I deleted that line, and saved it, and now it’s working properly.

I’m not sure what happened. I do have an open support ticket with SiteGround and they may have fixed it for me as I gave them access to my WP Dashboard. But so far, I’ve not had a response to my support ticket so I don’t know if they fixed it or somehow I fixed it….

I didn’t even read that copy and paste I sent you I didn’t realize that had secure info in it. I thought it was just code. Damn. I don’t even know where to change that info. I just get in deeper and deeper…

Well, may as well just reinstall again – that’s going to be as easy as anything :).

I’ve given them a support ticket to change the login and pw for me, and to notify them of my mistake. Thanks for your help. Thoughts on their answer above?

Sounds like you didn’t actually have a menu set up correctly – but since I didn’t look at it, can’t say for sure.
