I’ve moved my blog (with 100+ posts and 300+ pages) from f1fanatic.co.uk/f1fblog to f1fanatic.co.uk as per the instructions in the Codex.

The move has worked for the posts (except the image link addresses which need the /f1fblog parts removing)

But I cannot view any of my pages. They are still on the admin screen under pages and I can edit them and all the content is still in them. But I cannot view them normally and even if I open them up in admin and re-save them, I still get an error 500.

Can anyone suggest how I could fix this, short of re-building every page?

    Thanks,

    KC

  • Be sure to go into your options and regenerate your .htacces file. It’s under the permalink options. Change something in your permalink, update ,htaccess, then change it back and update the .htaccess again.

Brilliant – I did read that part in the codex but I didn’t realise that’s what the htaccess file was.

Seems to be fixed now – thanks so much for the quick reply!
