Pages, Posts & Comments

  • Hi All,

    A new user new this might be a daft question but here goes. My “Static Pages” like “About Us” show up the comments box underneath the text, whilst my standard blog posts do not.

    Anyone know why?

  • Strange. What theme are you using? If you switch to the default theme, does the problem persist?

    If not, then check your theme files. Your single.php theme file is used for Posts, and should contain <?php comments_template(); ?>. Your page.php theme file is used for Pages, and shouldn’t.
