Pages & Posts – Titles contain h2 /h2

    On WordPress 3.5.1, all of a sudden, on the ‘Posts’ page and the ‘Pages’ page, the titles are surrounded by <h2> and </h2>.

    What’s up with that? Is anyone else seeing this?

    I had replaced the filter for ‘the_title’, for a plugin which was not highlighting the title on pages it was presenting. I did not realize that it would have this side-effect.

    Resolved.

    Now, this is important. Before somebody corrects me, I must set the record straight. It was not Roseanne Roseannadanna, but dear Emily Litella who said “Never mind”.
