The store I am working on will often take custom orders, where the shop owner will manually create on order on the back end and send an invoice for payment.

When trying to pay for the order, the page simply refreshes when attempting to use PayPal. This happens if you use the “pay” link from the email invoice or if the user logs in to their account and uses the “pay” button next to the pending order.

    Is this a bug?

This is a known issue, unfortunately. Not so much of a bug as simply a missing feature. We need to implement more code to get PayPal Express Checkout working the way you’re talking about. It’s currently planned for the 1.1.7 release.

We’re just about to release 1.1.6.3, and then we have a list for 1.1.6.4 behind that already. 1.1.7 is scheduled to be completed after that. We’re working hard on it, but it may be a little while before we get there.

I’m sorry I don’t have better immediate news for you. I’m going to go ahead and close this ticket, but let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
