pages reserved for logged-in site visitors
-
I need my site to present a public face – a few pages explaining the group and inviting site viewers to join. But group members, once logged in, would see slightly differently presented pages.
Members of the group would each have a username (probably Contributor status). Once logged in members would have access to a forum and events listing. These features should not be visible to any site visitors not logged in.
I want to do this to keep the ‘public’ site simple and accessible, not cluttered with features that only group members would use (which of course would present site visitors not logged in with error pages, access denied or no forums found etc). What is the best way to achieve this?
