Pages text and images leave gaps that I can't close up

can you post a link to your website?

Can’t post a link, sorry.

These gaps only occur when I have text followed by inserting an image (like a graph).

So I have tried to clear the page and start over, but no dice.

I’ve tried to highlight the gap area and then delete it, no dice.

Is there a setting that I have missed?

your paragraph tags in the content of a post or page might be formatted with a top margin;

without being able to post a live link to your site, you are basically on your own with the troubleshooting.

try using a browser inspection tool to investigate the gap …
