• Hi,

I have a production and a test website:
    https://csse.usc.edu/ucc_wp/
    https://csse.usc.edu/ucc_wp_test/

I have Simple:Press installed for a Forum, and it is accessible on the page “User Forum” on the production site and “Forum” on the test site. When I click on that page’s link from the header menu on the production website, the title changes to “### (no title)”, but this does not happen on the test site. I’ve checked all of the settings, and everything seems to be the same. How can I ensure that the page title remains visible when going to that page?

    Thanks,
    Anandi Hira

  • Are there any plugins on the production site that don’t exist/aren’t active on the test site (or vice versa)?

    Hi,

I try to keep the plugins as synced as possible. There were only a few differences. I made my test plugins look exactly like my production, except that it has a WordPress Importer plugin that I use to import the information and data from the production website. I also have the following plugin on Production, but not in Test (could not find it to install in Test): Shortcode Exec PHP.

The Production website still has the problem, and the test website does not.

    Thanks,
    Anandi Hira

does this also happen if you add other pages where the page title consists of two words?

Actually, I used to have my forum on another page named “Forum”. For testing, I created a new page and named it “User Forum”, and it had the same problem with both.
