Pages widget broken in 2.7?

  • Hi all! I just upgraded my 2.6.5 to 2.7, and everything seems to work fine, except for the pages widget, which doesn’t appear in my sidebar; also, when configuring the widget, it doesn’t honor the values I input and always wants to have a strange unicode character as its title.

    Anyone else seen this? how to fix it?

  • My widgets isn’t showing at all. Just a blank screen.

    I’m having a similar problem. Changing the title of my Pages widget does not reflect in the backend or on the frontend. I even modified widgets.php from wp-includes to call the Pages widget “Information” and changes still don’t show. This persists regardless of which plugins I have activated.
