Pages widget not excluding pages

    Can’t get the Pages widget to exclude pages.

    I only want gallery pages list in my sidebar, which have working fine on a different website, but the widget does not exclude the pages I list the Exclude box. Here is what I have in the widget configuration:

    I am sorting by “Page ID”

    Here are the excluded pages list
    2,177,181,183,224,259,263,265,278,278,280,282

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    The exclusion in the Pages widget works fine for me.

    Hey esmi, thanx for the reply.

    I deactivate all plugins at your recommendation and switched themes, but that did not change the widget’s behavior.

    I installed the Flexi Pages widget. Problem resolved.
