• Thanks a lot for this great plugin.

I wanted to improve the performance of my website. Using pagespeed insights, I was alerted to address issue with the image sizes (“Serve images that are appropriately-sized to save cellular data and improve load time”). I was wondering if you happen to come across this issue and maybe there is an easy fix for this. Thanks

  • I’d like to bump this issue as I’ve seen the same on pagespeed insights, and I also see it locally.

    Using https://barefootrunreview.com/altra-lone-peak-7-review/ as an example.
It’s possible to see the slide images loading full image sizes rather using sizes (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px element. (or small if mobile).

It’s a shame because this is trashing my page speed as multiple images are loading +2048px, and my image CDN has also been exceeded and I had to bump my plan.

I’m 100% happy to help diagnose the issue further.

One thing I have noticed, is that there is no data-srcset element in the img. I see that being queried in the JS and wonder if this is the source of the issue?
