Pagespeed Insights – plugin massivley impacts page speed and score

1st issue: a HUGE image being loaded by the Mailchimp plugin:

2nd issue: a whole lot of CSS etc we DO NOT need, as we are only using the checkbox on the checkout with no abandoned cart or signup form anywhere on the site:
