I installed SiteKit and I noticed the Google Pagespeed rating for mobile drops significantly (from 60 to around 30). Desktop keeps the same rating.
When I deactivate SiteKit the rating goes up again.

    How can this be solved?

    Hi there @webberende,

As Site Kit is primarily a wp-admin operated plugin it doesn’t add any performance impacting features or code on users sites upon install and set up.

If you add other services to your site after set up, such as Google Analytics, AdSense or Tag Manager this will result in additional http requests made to and from your site. Additional https requests can result in performance differences, whether you use Site Kit to add these services or not.

As a demonstration have you tried to add any of the Google services to your site manually, without using Site Kit? If so you can perform some tests, and I would expect you’ll find the same differences.

We also have some documentation on the plugin website in relation to performance. You’ll find this below:
    https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/front-end/

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. And nice job on the site and project!

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
