pageTitle Data Layer Variable has ” | ” in the end

  • In the data layer pageTitle has ” | ” in the end.

    All my pages have this although it is not present in the title.

    Any pointers on removing it is appreciated.

    Hi,

    GTM4WP calls a WordPress built in function to get the title: wp_title().

    It is called with | as separator but normally this should not be included at the end of the value just like on the sandbox site of this plugin.

    I wonder if there is any other plugin that alters the page title and perhaps adds an empty part next to the base title?
