Hello, after connecting the plugin, the PageView event appears in the second place after “View content”. Talking to Meta support, they told me that the problem is that the product view is triggering Pageview event and they suggested me to remove the PageView event from products. How can I do that with the plugin?

  • Hi @degebe,

Just to be sure we’re on the same page, are you seeing an issue with the PageView event or you’re looking to remove it because you think it shouldn’t be triggered on the product page?

If it’s the latter, the single product page is actually a page, so it seems normal for that event to be triggered. According to Meta’s documentation, this appears to be the expected behaviour:

The page view event is included as a part of your pixel base code. Page view tells you when someone lands on a web page with the pixel base code installed.

Thanks for your response. Is there any way to change the order of the events, so the Pageview appears first and not in the second position?
Because before you can change the order in the Meta admin console but they change this and now is automatic. So my question is if it is possible to modify the order from the plugin. Thanks in advance

Another issue is that the Purchase event is not receiving the price, do you know haw can I fix this issue from the plugin?

    Hi @degebe,

I’m afraid the plugin doesn’t provide an option to change the order of the events. (If it’s possible, it’ll require code customization which is outside the scope of our support.)

I took a look at your site pixel and found it’s integrated via the Pixel your site plugin. If your goal is to implement Facebook pixel via that plugin, you should disable the Facebook for WooCommerce pixel to avoid a conflict. (Enabling multiple pixels is known to cause issues and could cause the issue you’re seeing with purchase events).

You can check if your pixels are correctly triggered using the Meta pixel helper Chrome extension. If you see events/pixel issues, a good troubleshooting step would be to conflict test while checking with the pixel helper for when the issue returns and taking note of what was activated when it returned.

If you need further assistance with your pixel events, we recommend contacting Pixel your site plugin support as you’ve integrated Facebook pixel through that plugin.
