paginate plugin with “NEXT” browsing

  • Is there a paginate-style plugin that simply implements “NEXT” and/or “PREVIOUS” links for navigation between pages instead of the page numbers (i.e. 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | etc.)?

  • I don’t recall the format offhand, but I believe showing page numbers instead (or with) next/prev is a built-in feature. It’s up to you (and/or theme/template creator) to change the function call for the navigation element to show what you want shown. The Codex certainly should cover this topic (but someone jump in if you’ve edited a theme recently to do this!).
