• Hello

I got a little issue on my website with the pagination buttons.

    https://www.a-gamez.be/

The website is a magazine for games and on the homepage, on the bottom of the posts, there are paginationbuttons (1 and 2 as you can see). When you click on page 2 button, you get an 404 or error pageloading message because the url is not correct for the second page.

Anyone who has an idea on resolving this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Twelve theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Its most likely a custom loop problem. Its a custom theme, did you create it yourself?

I tried disabeling and enabeling the plugins apparently but no luck.
@ tomontoast: what do you mean with a custom loop problem?

The button refers to this link: https://www.a-gamez.be/?paged=2
Maybe its supposed to be another link? And I need to find the right link and edit the code of the pagination? I don’t know I’m just proposing.

A custom loop problem as in wordpress thinks there are x posts but your custom loop means it processes y causing a mismatch. Its a common problem with pagination.
