Pagination link points to the wrong page

Hello,
I’m using the Special Recent Posts 3 (version 3.0.6). The plugin was successfully integrated in wordpress. But then while testing it, I activated the pagination, and everytime I hit “next posts” it points to: https://localhost/wordpress/?paged=2 which is empty (I’m testing on my local PC) and of corse a page “not found” pops out.
Any idea how to solve this please? Thanks.
