Pagination not showing up at all

  • I have pagination enabled, i.e. not turned off by shortcode, but it is not showing with my template. If I use a code inspector, I can see the pagination div is empty:

    <div class="bib_page_nav"></div>

    Any ideas on what could be causing this? We have more posts on the site, and increasing the num=X in the shortcode works to show more, but I want visitors to be able to page through archives with 10 posts/page.

  • Is it a static page? Have a look at the installation tips:
    “3. Using the blog-in-blog shortcode on a page which is designated as a static shortcode will work, BUT pagination will not work as you expect it. I know this, but have not been able to fix yet. It is all to do with the way that WordPress builds it’s URLs on the fly, and that is very complex!”
