Hi, I’m having trouble with the WooCommerce plugin when using the shortcode pagination feature. While I’m still in the Elementor editor, the pagination appears, but after I publish the page and try to view the result, the pagination menu shows up for a moment and then disappears from the page. Can you help me solve my problem? Thanks

    Hello @oraduwur,

Thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help!

Could you please share the shortcode you are using? Have you tried confirming this issue using a different browser? For better assistance, can you provide a video showing the issue on your end? For video, you may use https://loom.com or https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/. Please follow the instructions on that page and then paste the URL into this thread.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks!

Hello Rajesh, thanks for reaching out to me. This is the code that I use

    [products limit="12" columns="4" orderby="date" paginate="true" category="buckle" cat_operator="NOT IN"]

And this is the link of the recorded video

    1. https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/32450415?key=1795bd4210c142df65b01a47bb468b54
    2. Elementor editor view : https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/32450433?key=4d9fb1c449eb40db1be0dfb28255e808

As you can see on the first video, the “Short By” menu and other menu such as page button are shown for a while before dissapearing from the content. Meanwhile on the elementor editor page all things seems to look fine as it should be.

    Hi @oraduwur ,

Thanks for the videos, they’re very helpful! The shortcode looks correct. I also replicated this on my test site and see that it works.

To move forward, can you first try deleting the shortcode, adding it back in Elementor, and then publishing the page? If nothing changes, there might be a conflict between the theme or other plugins and WooCommerce’s shortcode pagination.

In this case, try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and Elementor to check if the issue persists. If everything works, activate your plugins one by one to pinpoint which one might be causing the trouble.

Also, ensure your theme and plugins are all updated. Outdated versions can sometimes cause unexpected behavior. If the issue continues, switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One temporarily to see if your theme might be the culprit.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi @oraduwur! It’s been a while since we’ve heard back from you, so I’ll mark this thread as resolved. If you need help with anything else, please feel free to start another thread.

Because it’s unclear if you were able to solve your issue, I want to leave a few suggestions to make this thread more useful to anyone who finds it in future.

It seems like the WooCommerce short code was being used within the Elementor editor. As the potential for conflict in that situation is elevated, I would advise the following:

    1. Create a normal WordPress page (not using Elementor) and use the shortcode on that page. That should work as the shortcode is more likely to parse correctly, rather than being parsed through Elementor, which may strip, in this case, the pagination from the output.
    2. Try the WooCommere Product Collection block as explained in the WooCommerce Store Editing documentation. It may behave similarly to the shortcode, so it would be worthwhile to also try it within and outside the Elementor editor.
    3. Instead of the WooCommerce shortcode, use the Elementor product block instead. Read more about that here – it looks like it has features similar to the shortcode.

If either the shortcode or the Product Collection blocks work outside of Elementor, then there’s a reasonable chance that the issues lies with Elementor. If that turns out to be the case, I would also suggest reaching out to Elementor for assistance.
