• Dear,

Unfortunately pagination on the page on which we use the shortcode:

    [directorist_all_listing order=asc show_pagination=yes]

is not working and it results in a 404. At the moment we set redirect so the visitors get redirected to the home page.

Any idea what could cause this issue?

    Thanks,
    ycbizz

  • Hi,
Looks like you forgot to write quotation marks around parameter value. Please correct the shortcode to this [directorist_all_listing order=”asc” show_pagination=”yes”]

    Hi,

I have added the shortcode as you mentioned but the pagination buttons are not appearing.
The pagination option is also present in the backend settings.

Should I set it there or with the shortcode?

Please remove show_pagination=”yes” from shortcode and try again.

This is a bug and fix will be included in the next update.

There isn’t any bug there, we misunderstood! The issue was with the wrong quotation marks. Please us the following code and it should work.

    [directorist_all_listing order="asc" show_pagination="yes"]

I am confused. Earlier you mentioned to remove show_pagination=”yes” from the shortcode.
I have added the shortcode as you mentioned but it still does not work.

I already ran a plugin conflict test but that didn’t clear up anything.
Any idea what else might cause the bug?

    Hi,

Any update on this? When will the issue be fixed?
We have used the shortcode exactly as you mentioned bu no success.
We start to believe the plugin is not working correctly and would need to be seriously looked in to.

    Hello,
Have you tried the shortcode below? Its working on our end. Please share the link of the page where you put this shortcode.

    [directorist_all_listing order="asc" show_pagination="yes"]

Yes, you have mentioned this before. We have tried all the options you have in this thread. We would like a REAL solution by now.

The page where the shortcode is the same as mentioned in the original message which started this thread. Please look it up there.

CP, I ran into something similar to this with a short code a few days ago. What I did to correct it was, bump the existing short code down a couple lines, re-type it on the first line exactly like it is supposed to read, delete the old short code that you bumped down, (you put it there so you could see how to type out the new one), then save everything. Might need to clear cache after saving. Like I said, different short code in my case, but this step worked for me.

Please see the screenshot to understand the problem, and make sure you are using latest version of Directorist https://prnt.sc/pik8o7

@unclebob1zt Many thanks for chipping in on this. I tried what you suggested and unfortunately it did not help.

@aazztech Yes I copied the shortcode you mentioned before already.

Once again, we need a fixing to this bug in your plugin.

    Hi,

As the plugin does not seem to be working and the plugin author does not provide sufficient support we forced to look for another solution.

    Hello,
We haven’t found any issue in our testing.
The problem you are facing could be due to any number of things. The first place it’s needed to check plugins to see if there’s a conflict or just a poorly written plugin.

Please deactivate all the plugins except for Directorist to see if the issue persists. If the problem goes away, re-activate and test each plugin to see if you can determine which plugin the problem originates from. Then, let us know the name of the plugin.

    Hi,

We already ran a plugin conflict test and we switched to the default theme.
Even without any other plugin running and the default WordPress theme the Directorist plugin was still not functioning as it should.

I already mentioned this two week ago though.
The plugin where the problem originates from in this case is The Directorist.
Please actively look for a solution.
