Pagination not working

    Hello,

    After reading many posts about problems with pagination, here I am helpless, asking for your help.
    I am using lastest (4.4.2) version of WordPress and Blue Diamond theme. My problem is, pagination on my main page (which, as plugin says, uses page.php) is not working, when I hit page 2,3… it still displays content of page 1. However, pagination in categories / authors (thus, archive.php) and search (search.php) works without problems.
    Below I attach my page.php (with broken pagination) and archive.php (with working pagination). I haven’t found any “normal” pagination functions, archive.php uses pagination() function on line 83, page.php probably uses code around line 73 with function wp_link_pages.

    Well, I don’t really know where the problem is. I just wanted to say what theme am I using, if it helps somehow. It might (?) be theme problem or anything else.
    I just recently discovered discussion about pagination problem in wordpress 4.4.1, but this should be fixed in 4.4.2 , so I am still without any hint ??

    Does your pagination work if you use Twenty Sixteen and all plugins deactivated?

    Hello again, so I asked for help more skilled friend, he thinks it might be theme issue. I am sorry for asking improper question (I somehow didn’t realize the thing about commercial product, in hindsight it is logical).

    That’s great! If the issue was still happening with a bundled theme then it would be a core file that was misbehaving. Basic troubleshooting like disabling plugins and using a core, bundled theme can go a long way. Sort of a soft reset to see where the issue does actually lie. ??
