pagination not working for custom post types

Hi,
I have created one cutsom post type named as brands in my site.
and posts to that custom post type.
I am able to see the pagination bar at bottom of my page.
It start from 1 to 40..
But when i click on second page “https://dev.localhost/brands/page/2/”It showing error
page not found
what to do now
