Pagination Not Working For Me?

NOTE This is solved however I wanted to post this to let others know how I solved it.

Bill, Love your work and love this plugin however I found that the pagination was not working for me.

I saw the previous thread here :

…and searched all my plugins and theme folder for anything modifying the default.

I then turned off all plugins to test this plugin alone and I still got the 404 page when I try to hit the next page link.

I am using the permalink structure of %category%/%postname% with . as the Category Base.

I discovered that the . in category base that enabled me to drop the /category/ in the url was breaking the functionality of this plugin.

Taking out the . made it work so i needed a plug to do the same job of removing the ugly /category/ from urls.

I then installed the Remove Category URL plugin to work around this and voila! it works again.

I wrote this in case it helps others that want nice looking urls and pagination that works.
