Pagination strings not translated

  • Somehow the plugin blocks the translation of wordpress into german. i use the twentytwentyone theme. It translates when polylang is disabled, and as soon as its on, it reverts to the english version.

    the phrases “continue reading” and “Older posts” and “Newer posts” are my main concerns.

    Hello,

    I invite you to check the locale that you entered fro your language. It must be something like de_DE. I mention that because I see a strange code in your html lang tag (de-as) which tells the world that your site is using German from American Samoa which, as far as I know, doesn’t exist.

    If your locale is correct, check that your translations are up to date. In your backend, go to Dashboard > Updates and click on the button “Update translations” if you see one at the bottom of the screen.

    If it still doesn’t work, check for a conflict with a 3rd party plugin.

    Thanks A LOT!!! I really was using a weird locale. No idea where that came from. But i changed it and it works!
