    Never mind – you named class “page-numbers” – the same name as the theme. I had co create custom css to fix it.

    Site Reviews uses the default WordPress pagination CSS classes for the review pagination. It does this to allow your theme to provide the styling for it.

    I think there should be both options there.

    If your theme does not provide pagination styling, then yes it will not be styled and you will have to add your own CSS.
