    Hi there,

Love the plugin – great work so far! Can’t wait for v1.0

I’ve just been testing the new pagination feature and I’ve found if you are using a custom template (well, declaring it in the shortcode) the pagination doesn’t code doesn’t appear on the front-end at all.

    Shortcode in using:
    [catlist pagination=yes id=508 template=template1 date=yes author=yes excerpt=yes excerpt_tag=p excerpt_class=intro numberposts=25]

Taking out the template=template1 works perfectly fine.

Another small issue I found is that the .css loads in the footer where it should be in the header (throws a validation error)

Thanks for the great work so far.

I marked your other topic as resolved, so we can follow this up here.

I have to check out the pagination with custom templates, I’ll let you know what I find here.

Regarding the css, I’m using WordPress’ function wp_enqueue_style, it should work correctly. Testing it (now with WordPress 3.8 latest nightly), it enqueues the CSS in the header. Could be because of a plugin or something specific from the theme?

    Thanks for the reply.

It could be theme/plugin specific – there is a lot going on ?? – not too concerned about that as I can move it manually.

Let me know how you get on with the custom template, appreciated.

    Hi!

Same issue regarding the custom template, one of the last things I need before going live with the site.

    Thanks!

Ok, this has been fixed on the dev branch. I’ll push a new release soon. Please test it once you update the plugin to the latest version. Thanks!

Can you let me know if you’ve tested this on the latest version and it’s working as expected? That way I can mark this issue as resolved.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I haven’t updated to the latest version just to be safe. Will give it a go in the next day or so and post my findings. Thanks for the original fix though, it worked great.

    Cheers!

Thanks for answering! I’m marking this issue as resolved then. If you have any further problems just post a new topic.

    Thanks!

I am having the custom template / pagination issue as well. I just updated the plugin, but the pagination still does not work. I just posted this as a question here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/pagination-not-working-42
sorry for the duplication, however it does not seem resolved for me. thanks!

    Hi Fernando,

I’m running the latest version of the plugin (0.42.3) and I’m seeing the navigation as a bulleted list, not nice boxes as before. I’m seeing this with and without using a custom template.

roso60, this seems like a new bug. Did you change the location of lcp_paginator.css? Did you read the “Changing the pagination CSS” part of the documentation?

    Thanks!
