Hi, I am looking to link my CookieYes banner made using this plugin for free to Google Consent Mode. Do I need to be paying the monthly subscription to do this or is there a way to do it with the free plugin?

I’ve been trying to follow this documentation to check everything is installed correctly to start off with but I do not have the CookieYes dashboard within my plugin, what I see in the GDPR Cookie Consent menu drop down is Settings, Cookie List, Cookie Category, Cookie Scanner, Policy Generator, Script Blocker and Privavcy Overview. My plugin is up to date

    Please can you help?

    Hi @georgiedavies,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

You are on the legacy UI of our plugin. Please refer to?this thread?to learn more about the new UI interface and to migrate from the legacy interface to the new interface without affecting the configurations.

After migration, you will be able to connect to CookieYes for free which is mandatory to implement Google consent mode. Then, you can follow method 2 in this?documentation?to implement Google consent mode.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I hadn’t had time to look at everything. Is there a way of adding the script in version 2 not into the main website script? I’m not a developer so want to ensure I’m not heading the main coding if possible

    Thanks

Can I still get some help on this please? It is not resolved

    Hi @georgiedavies,

You can add the scripts to your active theme’s header.php file. Also, please refer to our new?documentation, exclusively for the plugin users.

Thank you for this documentation that is much clearer.

My question still stand though, is there a way of adding this script into a plugin such as Code Snippets rather than directly into the website header? I am always a little nervous of adding script there

    Thanks

    Hi @georgiedavies,

It will be difficult to ensure the order of the scripts while adding them using a third-party plugin.

Thank you. That is what I wondered
