Paid Feature Request – Writing to external DB

    We need this plugin, or one like it, to allow data to be read AND written to that external database, or perhaps to sync specific fields to the external database when changed in the local database(pretty much password changes only)

    Something we are more than happy to pay for and then have you include for free in the plugin for everyone else. Judging by your reply in the other post this looks to be a pretty straight forward job so our fingers are crossed that you’d have some time in the coming days to chat more about it.

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

    This is actually slightly more complicated than it sounds. I go into some details about some of the considerations in this post.

    I have decided to release a Pro version of the plugin and I am thinking this is going to be the first feature.

    I am intending to start work on this at the weekend and I am going to leave this post open so that I don’t forget to keep you updated with progress.

    I will probably come back to you with more questions as time progresses so that I can try and ensure the release caters for your specific needs.

    I must be clear that I am not promising anything at this stage except for the fact that this is my current plan and I intend to keep you posted ??

    Thanks for the interest in the plugin and I’ll endeavour to get back to you at the end of the weekend. If I don’t, I certainly won’t be offended if you want to send me a chasing message for an update ??

    Thanks man, I appreciate it. As hinted at in the subject line, I’d be more than happy, thrilled even, to throw some clams at you via paypal, if that would help with the motivation over the weekend, as it saves me from hiring an external dev to modify your plugin instead of you doing a better job faster that other people would be able to benefit from.

    Hi Ryan,

    Unfortunately I am not allowed to contact people outside of this platform under the www.ads-software.com guidelines.

    This is something I will be adding to the External Login plugin as a paid for version.

    I am going to mark this as resolved for now as I think I have answered your question but I will endeavour to post back here once I have released the pro version to ensure you can access it and to hear if you required any features outside of the initial release.
