Hi,
This is stated in the plugin description: “Site duplicator/migrator: can copy sites, and (with add-on) move them to new locations”
Please don’t use reviews just to express general disappointment; that’s really not fair on plugin authors. The plugin does what it’s advertised as doing; the plugin description says “Easy and complete backups + restoration. Manual or automated backups (backup to S3, Dropbox, Google Drive, Rackspace, FTP, SFTP, email + others)” and the title is “UpdraftPlus – WordPress Backup and Restoration”; it’s not reasonable to bring down a plugin’s rating just because it doesn’t do something that it’s not advertised as doing.
Complaining that quality work involves money somewhere is like complaining that the sky is blue. If you look at the most downloaded plugins in the www.ads-software.com directory, you’ll find that something like 90% of them are monetised by some mechanism, somehow. It’s that monetisation that makes it possible for many users to have a completely free version. This is win-win, really – because the alternative to no monetisation is no free version; nobody would gain from that.
