• I’m using discount based on quantity and flatsome theme. For specific types of customer, I’m interested in making groups and use paid version to apply a discount on all products. I want to be sure that discount based on quantity would be over ride by discount based on group. I also want to be sure there won’t be problem with theme, with cart and different plugins working with cart. In other word, is there a way to test, and if fonctionnal, then buy ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @dgiraudaudine you can generate an admin demo here to test all the features you need.

Used the demo generator. Published “10% off cart if customer is a doctor”, it was in pending state. On top of the rule is written that “shop1” has been added to the doctor group and the credential are given to check the cart discount on website. Adding products doesn’t apply discount at all. Am I missing something ?

Hello @dgiraudaudine, sorry for the delay.
No, you did it right. Let me check what’s wrong and I’ll get back to you.
    Sorry

    Hello @dgiraudaudine,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we were able to add the groups plugin to the demo and the discounts are working.

You will also find in this tutorial the different types of discounts you can configure with the groups plugin here

again, loaded the demo, published “10% off cart if customer is a doctor” logged with shop1 who’s supposed to be in the doctor group and there is no 10% off in the shop1 user’s cart… Really I don’t understand how it is supposed to work.

I guess your demo doesn’t add shop1 to the doctor group because when I change the rule to affect “registered” group, which means everybody, the “doctor” rules applies. How can I effectively test the group fonction since I can’t change / check if a user is belonging to a certain group ?

The reason you couldn’t easily create the shop1 user is because we didn’t give you permission to do so

We’ve updated the demo configuration, so you should now be able to add the shop1 user and test the discount application.

Woocommerce / customer is empty ( no data ), and group / doctor shows (0) member. Plugin can’t be tested.

I really think your demo won’t work because shop1 isn’t added to Doctor group contrary to what it says. I guess I have to believe you that it works in production but then could you please answer this : If I have a user in doctor group that has 10% and that I make a temporary discount of 10% on product, is it possible to prevent the combination of the two to happen. The same for the quantity discount ? Can I configure so that doctor that have already discount are not affected by quantity discount ?
