Panel background not updating consistently

  • I changed my panel background to 255,255,255, using the Panel Background setting on the Mega Menus tab.
    But the change is not showing up consistently. When I visit the site while logged in, everything looks fine. But when I visit it while logged out, the old background color shows (59,60,65). And when I visit the site on mobile, the panel bg is black.
    I’ve cleared my page cache and browser cache. I’ve checked my Additional CSS and styles.css, and I don’t see any code in either place that references #mega-menu.
    Can someone help me with this mystery?

    Hi akubrin,

    The issues you’ve mentioned will point to a caching plugin, it looks like you have WP Fastest Cache installed. Please try completely disabling that in order to test whether that is the source of the issue. (If it is still not working, please leave that plugin disabled whilst I take another look).

    Hi Tom,
    Great, that fixed it. Actually, it fixed two problems, since I was also having trouble updating the footer color.
    But I still need a caching plugin. What do you suggest? How can I get my caching plugin to play nice with Max Megamenu?

    Hi Andy,

    I don’t use one myself, but Autoptimize seems good and you may have better luck with that.
