At the bottom of the page there is a blue field, and in this blue field there is “Theme by Out the Box”. I want to delete this text. I’ve looked in the Appearance > Customize. There isn’t a Footer selection. Here is the link I’m working on. Thanks

    Hello @dadams76,

I see that you have managed to remove it.

    LebCit,
Yes I did remove it by going to the footer.php. I didn’t want to do it that way because when there is a update it will go back to the default. That is why I was looking within my Dashboard.

You should use a child theme for your customization or a custom CSS plugin.

    Thanks,
I got it fixed. Thanks for all the help.

I have the same problem. I have inserted the line into the CSS editor and saved it but the theme message still appears. Am I missing something here?

I have deleted the line in the footer.php which related to Theme Out of the Box but I have now lost the grey line. How can I put that back please?
