paragraph acting as line break

i’m working on a friend’s blog, https://divinenobodies.com/blog/, and the new theme we just switched to seems to use the </p> tag as a line break instead of double spacing for a new paragraph. I know there are some validation issues I need to get to, but could someone please take a look and see if you can find what’s making the closing paragraph tag act this way? thanks.
