Paragraph breaks aren't being copied over

The plugin isn’t converting the normal line breaks I’ve included in the individual posts. I’m not including handcoded <br>, which works if I do, but I’d like the blockquote to automatically format the line breaks like most wordpress posts do. Otherwise it’s hard to have non-developers transfer all the content from a page like:

Any thoughts anyone?
